Jace Trettin

Jace is a CID/CVID warrior and soon-to-be bone marrow transplant warrior, bravely battling a complex immune deficiency that affects his muscles and lungs. Because of his condition, even common illnesses can become serious, and his strength is often limited.

In 2023, Jace was hospitalized after a severe lung infection that did not respond to multiple treatments, revealing compromised lung function and the need for intensive care and ongoing monitoring.

Now, Jace is preparing for a bone marrow transplant this August, a critical step toward improving his health. In an incredible turn of hope, his older brother Jaxon is a perfect match and will serve as his donor. He was one of only 3 matches available for Jace.

Despite everything he faces, Jace continues to show strength and positivity. Surrounded by the love and support of his family, he takes on each challenge with courage, inspiring everyone around him as he continues his journey toward healing.
